Notes on the Use of AI

We partially use applications based on artificial intelligence (AI) in the creation and editing of our content. This can particularly involve images, illustrations, graphic elements, as well as individual text components. AI can be used both to create content and to assist in its editing or further development.

Editorial Responsibility

The use of AI does not replace our editorial responsibility. Content created or edited with the help of AI is reviewed by us before publication and adjusted if necessary. Despite careful review, AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading results.

AI-Generated Images

Images created or edited with AI may depict fictional persons, places, objects, or situations. Such depictions therefore do not necessarily reflect actual events or real circumstances. Where legal transparency or labeling requirements apply to specific content, we label this content accordingly. Such labeling can be placed directly on the respective image or content.

Transparency in the Use of AI

Not every supportive use of AI leads to a separate labeling of the respective content. With these notes, we aim to transparently inform that AI-supported tools can generally be part of our editorial and creative work process.

Statutorily required labeling and transparency obligations for certain AI-generated or AI-manipulated content remain unaffected.
