TIP: The double amount of soup without bread is perfect for a low-carb day!

Preparation

  1. Finely diced onions and a pressed clove of garlic are sautéed in a pot with oil until translucent, sprinkled with a pinch of sugar, tomato paste added and fried briefly.
  2. Then add the chopped tomatoes, season with soup cube, pepper, salt, and herbs, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, chop the basil. Toast the whole grain bread, optionally rub with garlic and spread with butter. Stir the basil into the soup and puree until creamy. Now add 1 tsp quark.
  4. Cut the bread into small cubes and sprinkle on top.
  5. Enjoy!
