Ingredients for three servings
50 g red lentils
100 g lean ground beef
1 carrot
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
1 tsp curry
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garam masala
1 pinch of salt
1 tbsp oil
Preparation
- Cut the carrot, onion, and garlic into small cubes. Sauté the onion and garlic cubes until translucent. Then add the ground beef and brown it nicely.
- Add the carrot cubes and mix with the spices. After a short time, add the lentils and briefly roast them as well. Then deglaze with broth and let simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, chop the coriander leaves and season the yogurt with salt, lemon juice, and pepper. When the stew has reached a creamy consistency, stir in the chopped coriander. Remove from heat and season with balsamic vinegar, salt, and lemon. Serve and accompany the stew with yogurt. Enjoy your meal!
