Delicious Porridge with Peach Compote

Ingredients for one serving

60 g rolled oats
250 ml milk of your choice
50 ml water
1 peach
15 g honey
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp nuts

Tip: Instead of peaches, you can also try apricots, pears, or apples.

Preparation

  1. Bring the milk together with the rolled oats and a pinch of salt to a boil in a small pot while stirring. Remove the pot from the heat and cover. The contents in the pot must rest for about 4 to 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, halve the peach, remove the pit, and cut into cubes. Then put into a hot pot and deglaze with water, honey, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Serve the peach compote with the porridge and garnish with nuts as desired.
